Come down to Lion Bridge Brewing Company the last Sunday of every month (except December) and sample FREE BEER provided by the Cedar Rapids Brewing Society. Learn about different beer styles, what's cool and new in brewing, or find out how you can make your own beer at home!

The Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio (ICCGS) will join us again at Lion Bridge Brewing Company! Grab a gal pal or your sweetheart and create something during Valentine’s week with us. Participants will create their snow gnome by using pinch pot techniques to assemble their own unique gnome. Put it in the garden in the Spring! Finished projects will measure approximate 4”x4”. Participants will decorate their gnomes using special ceramic paints. Projects will then be taken back to ICCGS to be coated with a special clear glaze and fired in their kilns. Your finished project will be available for pickup 3 weeks later at ICCGS. 1 LB beer is included with the purchase of a ticket.

The Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio (ICCGS) will join us again for this popular workshop here at Lion Bridge Brewing Company! Participants will start with a 5”-6” blank pre-thrown stein (made by ICCGS’s Resident Artists) to personalize and decorate using clay and glazes. You will add a decorative or functional handle and then decorate the outside of the stein however you like! Participants will then paint their steins using special ceramic glazes. Projects will then be taken back to ICCGS to dry and then coated with a special clear glaze and fired twice in their kilns. Your finished stein will be available for pickup 3 weeks later at ICCGS. 1 Lion Bridge beer is included with the purchase of a ticket.
